Cannot find the WinScore Database file on my local PC – WinScore

Cannot find the WinScore Database file on my local PC

The WinScore desktop application looks for files in very specific location on your local PC.

The WinScore Desktop Installation Folder:
C:\WinTie

The WinScore Desktop Tournament Database Folder:
C:\WinTie\trnamnts

If you Download a Tournament Database File from the Winscoreonline.com Website

Files that are downloaded via a web browser normally will store these files in the “Downloads” directory on your local PC. Once downloaded, you will need to move those files to the appropriate WinScore folder so that the desktop application can find them.

1.) The Downloads folder can be found by looking in the Windows File Explorer. You can open the File Explorer with the following steps:
A.) Open the Windows Search bar in the desktop taskbar.
B.) type “File Explorer”
C.) Click the enter key

2.) With the File Explorer window open, click on the “Documents” link.
A.) The documents link can be found on the left navigation frame under the “Quick Access” menu.
B.) The documents link can also be found under your windows user account home directory:
C:\Users\<user name>\Downloads

3.) Select the appropriate tournament database file (the file ends with the extension .mdb).

4.) Right click on this file and select the “Cut” command.

5.) Select the WinScore tournaments folder in File Explorer:
C:\WinTie\trnamnts

6.) Right click on the folder and select the “Paste” command.

You can now open the WinScore desktop application and open the tournament for the files that you just moved!
