Payout Calculations – WinScore

Payout Calculations

WinScore has multiple payout calculations that are configurable by the tournament manager allowing the shoot management the best opportunity to run a successful and profitable tournament! Below are definitions each type available for the overall Event Payouts, for Class Payouts, and Concurrent Payouts.

Event Payout Calculations

The following Overall Event Payouts can be configured: CH, RU, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place. Shoot management has the ability to uniquely configure the Event Payout calculation for each award for each specific event .

  • None.
Basically no payout will be awarded… this may be due to awards being handed out in place of money or simply there are no payouts being given for the event outside of options.
  • Fixed.
A fixed dollar value is assigned to each event award.
  • $$ Amount Above the Highest Class Payout
This payout option allows the shoot management team to define a dollar amount to be added onto the highest class payout. This option guarantees that a class payout will never be greater than a Event Payout due to the number of entrants creating a significant class payout. (ex. 18 shooters with $10 going back to class creates a class pool of $180 to be awarded).
  • Class Allocation
This payout option allows the shooter management team to take a small amount of the Back to Class dollars and apply it to an event award. (ex. 18 shooters with $10 going back to class. $4 being allocated to CH award. This will result in $72 being award to the CH purse and $108 remaining in the Class Payout Pool)

Class Payout Calculations

  • None.
Basically no payout will be awarded… this may be due to awards being handed out in place of money or simply there are no payouts being given for the event outside of options.
  • Fixed
A fixed dollar value is assigned to each class award.
  • Payouts Based on the Number of Shooters per Class
This class payout option allows shoot management to define both the number of entrants range and the payout percentages.
    ex: 1-5 Shooters, 100% 6-10 Shooters, 60/40 10-20 Shooters, 50/30/20
  • A Fixed Number of Payouts
This class payout option allows shoot management to define a fixed number of payouts per class but still define the payout percentage for each payout.
    ex. 1 Place: 100%, 2 Places: 60/40, 3 Places: 50/30/20

Concurrent Payout Calculations

The options available for Concurrents is the same as Class.. the only difference is the number of entrants is based upon each concurrent. Shoot Management does have the ability to define each payout calculation for each concurrent separately.
